For some schools in mountainous areas that are not flooded, the Department of Education and Training of Hue City assigned the principals of the schools to lead the centers to proactively decide on organizing teaching and learning according to the curriculum and report to the direct management agency according to regulations.
Previously, on October 27, due to the complicated developments of the flood situation, this locality also announced that students in the whole city would be off school.

As Thanh Nien reported, today due to heavy rain from upstream, floods on rivers in Hue City have risen again, causing flooding in many places.
Some inner city streets such as Phan Chu Trinh, Ba Trieu, Bach Dang, Huynh Thuc Khang... have been flooded again, paralyzing traffic.
During the day, many people in Hue City had just cleaned up their houses after the flood, but the water continued to rise again. In low-lying areas such as Quang Dien, Dan Dien, Phu Ho communes, Hoa Chau ward... thousands of households are still living with the flood, in many places the water is 0.5 m high, traffic is paralyzed.

It is forecasted that this afternoon and tonight, November 2, the water level on the Huong River at Kim Long station will tend to gradually increase to approximately alarm level 3 (alarm level 3 at Kim Long is 3.5 m); The water level on the Bo River at Phu Oc station will tend to gradually increase to approximately alarm level 3 (alarm level 3 at Phu Oc is 4.5 m).
