* Russia thwarts landing attempts in Kherson : On November 21, speaking at a meeting, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu stated: “All attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (VSU) to land in the Kherson region have failed.” According to him, Russian marines, air force, and artillery have hampered Ukraine’s ongoing efforts to seize positions on the eastern bank of the Dnipro River and the river mouth area in southern Ukraine. * Ukrainian President fears a “ new Maidan before the end of 2023 : On November 21, in an interview with The Sun (UK), Volodymyr Zelensky stated: “The name of this operation is Maidan 3, aimed at changing the Ukrainian president. This change may not be through military means, but they will use whatever tools they have at their disposal, and this is the idea for the period between now and the end of the year.”

This is the second time in less than a week that the leader has declared to Western media about a “Maidan 3” plotting against him. Previously, on November 17, in a meeting with foreign journalists, he mentioned this name, stating that this information was provided by Ukrainian intelligence and its Western allies.

* Israeli army tightens siege on Jabaliya city : On November 21, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that its 162nd Division had completed the siege of Jabaliya city in northern Gaza Strip and was ready to launch a major assault on the city.
