On April 22, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (KPRF), in coordination with the Communist Party faction in the State Duma (Lower House), the KPRF Party Committee in Moscow, the Lenin Communist Youth Union and left-wing patriotic social organizations in Moscow, held a solemn wreath-laying ceremony at Lenin's Mausoleum in Red Square on the occasion of the 153rd birthday of Vladimir Illyich Lenin (April 22, 1870 - April 22, 2023).

Thousands of people carrying flags, flowers and portraits of leader VI Lenin lined up on Red Square to lay flowers in front of Lenin's Mausoleum, commemorating the memory of the leader of the world proletariat.
The crowd chanted slogans such as “Celebrating the 153rd anniversary of VI Lenin’s birth”, “Lenin is our banner and symbol of victory!”, “Lenin! October! Socialism!”, “Lenin’s work will live forever!”… creating a revolutionary atmosphere that filled Red Square.
