The Women's Ao Dai Festival of the People's Public Security Force is the opening event in a series of special activities organized by the Ministry of Public Security to commemorate the 77th anniversary of the People's Public Security Force's study and implementation of the Six Teachings of President Ho Chi Minh, and to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Force's Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for Protecting National Security. The festival is also a meaningful activity to celebrate the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union. |

| In his opening remarks, Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Deputy Minister of Public Security, stated: "The Ao Dai Festival aims to honor the traditional beauty of Vietnamese women's Ao Dai, contributing to promoting the image of Vietnamese women in general, and female police officers in particular, to international audiences and friends. The festival also aims to spread joy and enthusiasm to visitors from all over. Activities within the framework of the Festival and the Gala "Glory of the Vietnamese People's Police" will contribute to educating about traditions, patriotism, national pride and self-respect, cultural exchange between female police officers and female police officers from several countries around the world, and promoting the image of Vietnamese women in general and female police officers in particular." |
