Admire the newly completed National Highway 19 connecting Gia Lai and Binh Dinh provinces

Project Management Board 2 said that the project to enhance connectivity in the Central Highlands by upgrading National Highway 19 has been completed and is in the process of being handed over and put into use.


The project has a total route length of about 143.6 km (17 km in Binh Dinh province, 126.34 km in Gia Lai province). The starting point of the project is at Km50+00, National Highway 19 in Tay Son district (Binh Dinh province), the ending point is at Km241+00, National Highway 19 in Duc Co district (Gia Lai province). The project is invested by Project Management Board 2. The total investment of the project is about 155.8 million USD, of which IDA loan capital is 150 million USD, counterpart capital is 3.7 million USD and non-refundable aid capital from the Australian Government for technical design work is 2.1 million USD. The project is divided into 8 construction packages.
