Automotive engineering technology is the leading major in terms of entrance exam scores at Cao Thang Technical College.

Dr. Le Dinh Kha, Principal of Cao Thang Technical College, said that this year the school is recruiting for 18 majors with a total quota of 4,500, including 675 places for direct admission.

"The school's admission quota based on academic transcripts is approximately 2,700 students, across three subject combinations: A00, A01, and D01. Currently, the total number of students who have submitted applications using the academic transcript method is nearly 7,000," said Dr. Kha.

For many years, the automotive engineering technology sector has held the top position in terms of entrance exam scores.

The top 3 majors with the highest admission scores based on academic transcripts in 2024 belong to the automotive and mechanical engineering group (where the math score is doubled). Leading the way is Automotive Engineering Technology with 28 points, followed by Automotive Maintenance and Repair (Automotive Technology) with 25 points, and Mechanical Engineering Technology with 24 points.

The lowest cutoff score is 20 points, in the following majors: computer accounting, mechanical repair, welding, industrial electricity, industrial electronics, computer network administration, and computer repair and assembly.

Compared to 2023, this year's cutoff scores have decreased. Specifically, the "hot" automotive engineering technology major saw its cutoff score drop from 31.5 points to 28 points.

Cao Thang Technical College announced the admission cutoff scores based on academic transcripts for 2024 on the morning of June 1st.

Dr. Le Kha stated that candidates admitted through the high school transcript review method must confirm their enrollment and pay the tuition fee for the first semester between June 4th and June 9th using one of two methods: confirming in person at the school or confirming online via the link https://caothang.edu.vn/tuyen-sinh/ket-qua-hb.html

Currently, the school continues to accept applications online or in person at the school (applicants should bring their high school transcript or grade reports for grades 11 and 12). The school will accept applications until the quota is filled, prioritizing early applicants. In addition, the school also continues to accept applications based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam through the school's own admissions software.
