The Hanoi Department of Education and Training (GDĐT) has launched a practical tree-planting campaign during Tet, avoiding ostentation, formality, and waste.
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has just issued a plan to organize the "Tree Planting Festival in Eternal Gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh" movement for the Spring of the Year of the Snake 2025.
Based on practical conditions, units should proactively select and organize the planting of new trees suitable to the landscape and natural conditions. The Hanoi Department of Education and Training requires units and schools to organize activities in response to the Tree Planting Festival that are practical, effective, and not ostentatious, formal, or wasteful, with the participation of officials, teachers, staff, students, and parents, thereby changing awareness and behavior regarding the environment.

The plan also continues to implement the "Planting One Billion Trees Project in the period 2021-2025," restoring the system of trees broken and fallen due to Typhoon No. 3; and simultaneously launching and widely disseminating information, calling on all Party members, officials, associations, organizations, and the people to follow President Ho Chi Minh's teaching: "Spring is the time for planting trees, making the country ever more vibrant and beautiful."
The Tet Tree Planting Movement created a vibrant, enthusiastic, and joyful atmosphere of competition throughout the city in the early days of the Year of the Snake 2025, laying the foundation for the city's development in the new year and the period 2026-2031.
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training requires all units to strictly manage the number of trees planted in their premises, and to organize campaigns to encourage staff, teachers, employees, and students to actively participate in and support the movement to care for and protect green trees in schools and in the local area.
