Lam Dong Tax Department solves difficulties, meets the 2-level local government model

The working delegation of Lam Dong Tax Department and its affiliated tax branches had a working session with Bao Lam 1 commune on resolving tax administrative procedures, meeting the requirements of implementing the 2-level local government model in the commune.

According to the report, from July 1st to now, Bao Lam 1 Commune Public Administration Service Center has received 220 citizens coming to contact about tax fields such as: Land use rights transfer records, change of purpose, new issuance about 200 times; vehicle registration records, business registration 20 times. From July 1st, business registration procedures are performed in connection with tax connection software ( VNPT -ILIS).

At the meeting, leaders of Bao Lam 1 commune reported some difficulties in the process of implementing tax administrative procedures at the Commune Public Administration Service Center.

Specifically, administrative procedures related to land tax have not been connected, data sharing, or interoperable software. Facilities and equipment are not sufficient to ensure smooth operations. There is a shortage of civil servants, who have not been fully trained in professional skills, especially tax expertise. Tax officers have not been assigned to the Public Administration Service Center.

Leaders of Bao Lam 1 Commune People's Committee pointed out difficulties in the process of implementing administrative procedures related to the tax sector.

The leaders of Bao Lam 1 Commune People's Committee proposed to arrange at least 2 to 3 tax officers to be on duty at the Commune Public Administration Service Center to promptly resolve problems and difficulties of people and businesses during the implementation process. The Tax Department is interested in considering the construction of interoperable software to facilitate coordination in determining financial obligations in the land sector and other fields.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Tran Phuong, Deputy Head of the Tax Branch of Region VIII, acknowledged the opinions and recommendations of the People's Committee of Bao Lam 1 Commune in the process of performing tax duties at the Commune's Public Administration Service Center.

Based on the reports of the tax authorities and the survey results, the delegation will synthesize and analyze the causes and problems to develop a solution.

The delegation will study and propose to the Lam Dong Tax Department and its affiliated tax branches solutions to reduce and simplify administrative procedures, and switch to electronic procedures, regardless of administrative boundaries. Thereby, creating convenience for taxpayers in carrying out administrative procedures, especially those related to land, vehicle registration fees, and information change procedures.
