In the third quarter of 2025, the Department of Health issued the 2025 Health Sector Digital Transformation Plan, setting out specific tasks, targets and progress. 100% of the directive and management information is updated on the Department's electronic information portal at: https://soyte.sonla.gov.vn; all administrative procedures of the sector are carried out via electronic one-stop software, with 958 records received, 100% resolved on time. In particular, 100% of cadres, civil servants and public employees have been granted digital signatures, helping to process documents and operate online quickly, accurately and safely.

At the same time, the Department of Health focuses on improving management capacity, information security, regularly updating anti-malware software, reviewing network security vulnerabilities, coordinating with Viettel to deploy a specialized online meeting room system and Zoom Meeting application connecting from the Department to its affiliated units.

A highlight is that the Project to deploy the Smart Hospital model at Son La Provincial General Hospital is being accelerated. This is an important step in the roadmap to modernize the health system, aiming to provide high-quality medical examination and treatment services, focusing on patients. Along with that, the Department of Health has promoted the implementation of electronic medical records (HSBAĐT) under the direction of the Ministry of Health . Up to now, 07/20 hospitals in the province have successfully operated the HSBAĐT system; 11 other units are expected to complete in the fourth quarter of 2025. The application of electronic medical records not only helps shorten the time for medical examination and treatment but also creates a foundation for building a smart health ecosystem, connecting data between levels, serving the work of managing people's health more effectively.

In particular, Son La is one of the pioneering localities to deploy the Electronic Health Book on the VNeID application, helping people easily monitor and manage personal health information anytime, anywhere, thereby realizing the goal of "digital transformation for the health of all people".

Despite difficulties in IT infrastructure and specialized human resources, Son La Health sector remains steadfast in its goal of innovation, creativity and comprehensive digital transformation. In the fourth quarter of 2025, the sector will focus on completing network infrastructure, upgrading security systems, ensuring information security, and continuing to put electronic medical records into operation at all medical examination and treatment facilities in the area.

The results achieved in recent times clearly demonstrate the determination of the Son La Health sector in innovating management methods, modernizing the health system, improving the quality of service to the people, contributing to the successful implementation of the goal of building digital government, digital society and digital health care in Son La province.
