
Ms. Lo Thi Phien, President of the Women's Union of Phieng Pan commune, shared: The Union has widely launched the movement "Building Vietnamese women of the new era", the Campaign "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean, 5 yes's, 5 no's", along with two breakthroughs in accompanying the building of a strong women's union and applying information technology in the Union's activities.
Accompanying members in economic development, the Association has implemented a capital program to support poor women and women starting businesses, in coordination with the Social Policy Bank to lend capital to 885 households, with a total outstanding loan of more than 60 billion VND. Coordinated with specialized sectors to organize 75 training courses on transferring science and technology in cultivation and animal husbandry; maintained the Women's Business Club with 76 members; organized 5 consulting sessions, introduced jobs to nearly 100 female workers, creating stable jobs for 150 women. Up to now, the commune has 2 cooperatives owned by women, namely Tre Xanh Cooperative and Na Ot Coffee Cooperative; helped 15 member households to stabilize their lives, 22 near-poor women households to escape poverty.

Ms. Cam Thi Xung, Head of the Lu Village Association, said: The association has 285 members, of which 15 are poor and near-poor. We always encourage members with good economic conditions to support working days, share experiences, support seeds and techniques so that women in difficulty can develop fruit tree growing and livestock raising models. Thanks to that, income reaches 18-20 million VND/person/year.
To raise awareness and legal knowledge for members, the Commune Women's Union has coordinated to organize more than 115 training and communication classes on building happy families, disseminating the Party's guidelines, policies, laws, family work and child care and education skills. Building the model "Safety for women in cyberspace" with 182 members has become a bright spot in protecting women from risks in the digital environment. In addition, the model "Women with the law" in Xa Kia and Tram Hin villages, with 80 members, has helped members understand the law, proactively prevent risks and confidently assert their voice in the community.

Not only that, the Women's Union of Phieng Pan commune also actively participates in building new rural areas, building 22 self-managed roads for women; 5 models of "Women collecting and classifying waste"; 15 "Green houses" raising funds from scrap to visit and support members in difficult circumstances.
Since the beginning of the year, the Association has mobilized 2,500 members to participate in cleaning village roads, clearing waterways, collecting waste; planting and caring for nearly 1.5 km of flower roads, contributing to beautifying the rural landscape. The model of "Clean house, beautiful garden" has been replicated in many model residential areas. The Association also encourages members to classify and treat waste at households, build clean water facilities, participate in the Clean Water and Environmental Sanitation Club, prevent social evils, and contribute to improving the quality of rural life...
From specific models and programs, Phieng Pan women increasingly affirm their role in the family and actively contribute to local development.
