On November 8th, Zone 5, Cao Xa commune, Lam Thao district organized the "National Unity Day" to commemorate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024), Vietnam Law Day (November 9), and the recognition of the residential area as a smart new rural area.
Representatives from the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee presented flowers to congratulate the officials and people of Zone 5.
Zone 5 of Cao Xa commune has a total of 261 households with 780 inhabitants, 90% of whom are engaged in agricultural production. Over the years, officials and people in the zone have united to effectively implement the "National Unity Campaign for Building New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas" and other patriotic emulation movements launched by various levels of government. The people's living standards have improved; political security and social order have remained stable and secure.
The leaders of Lam Thao district presented a flower basket and a symbolic plaque to Zone 5, awarding them 50 million VND for achieving the smart new rural standard.
In 2024, the average per capita income reached VND 64.4 million/person/year, an increase of VND 3.5 million compared to 2023; the percentage of families achieving the "Culturally Advanced Family" status reached 97.7%. The residential area achieved the status of a model culturally advanced residential area in 2024. Over the two years (2023-2024), the Front Committee, in coordination with the residential area and member organizations, mobilized the people and philanthropists to support and contribute over VND 1.3 billion and more than 1,000 days of labor to build the smart residential area... Based on these achievements, at the end of 2023, Residential Area No. 5 was recognized by the District People's Committee as a smart new rural residential area.

At the Solidarity Day celebration, leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Department of Justice, and Lam Thao District presented flowers and gifts to congratulate the people of Zone 5; and gave gifts to 10 poor households and households with difficult circumstances. On this occasion, the Lam Thao District People's Committee awarded Zone 5 50 million VND for achieving the smart new rural standard; the District People's Committee and Cao Xa Commune People's Committee also awarded outstanding collectives and individuals of the zone...

During the event, activities promoting Vietnam Law Day were also held, along with a democratic flower-picking activity titled "Understanding Vietnamese Law".
