Mr. Le Quang Thanh - Deputy Director of Nghe An Electricity Company said: On August 3, 2025, the capacity and electricity consumption output in Nghe An province were recorded to be very high, with Pmax capacity = 1052MW, daily output of 19.4 million kWh. A sharp increase compared to the average level under normal weather conditions. In the face of extreme weather, Nghe An Electricity Company has also proactively increased inspection and maintenance of the power grid to ensure safe and stable power supply. At the same time, coordinating with press agencies, on social networking platforms, the Customer Care Center system (EVNNPC CSKH) ... to promote propaganda so that people can monitor the amount of electricity consumed, estimate daily electricity bills and promptly adjust accordingly.

In addition, Nghe An Electricity Company recommends that people increase the application of electricity saving solutions to help reduce high electricity costs such as: Turning off electrical equipment when not in use; Prioritizing the use of electrical equipment with energy saving labels; Using air conditioners at reasonable temperatures (about 26-28 degrees Celsius) combined with fans; Do not use high-capacity electrical equipment at the same time; Limiting the use of electricity during peak hours; Taking advantage of natural light and ventilation, avoiding overuse of electricity; In particular, encouraging people to install rooftop solar power systems.

For businesses, it is necessary to strictly implement internal regulations on electricity saving, periodically check and maintain electrical equipment, invest in, improve and replace old low-efficiency equipment with high-efficiency equipment, closely coordinate with the Electricity industry in load adjustment, proactively plan electricity usage according to grid capacity.

Not only causing pressure on living expenses, the intense heat also increases the risk of electrical fires due to overloaded electrical systems, especially in residential areas. Nghe An Electricity Company warns and recommends that people regularly check their electrical systems and replace old, poor quality equipment to ensure safety.

The heat in Nghe An not only affects people’s health but also increases their living expenses, especially electricity bills. Being proactive in adapting and using electricity wisely is necessary to reduce the burden of spending and ensure safety during the long hot season.
