Nghe An: Highlights on May 18

* Commemorating the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024), on the morning of May 18, a delegation of the Party Central Committee and the State came to lay wreaths, visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, and offer incense and pay tribute at the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs on Bac Son Street.

* After three days (May 16-18) of urgent, serious and responsible work, the 9th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee completed all the proposed content and program and closed on the morning of May 18.

* On the morning of May 18, the Provincial Labor Federation organized a ceremony to honor typical " Nghe An workers following Uncle Ho's teachings" in 2024, to honor and reward workers who have made efforts, overcome difficulties to achieve many outstanding achievements in labor production.

* On the morning of May 18, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Business Bloc of Nghe An province held a conference to disseminate and deploy the 2024 theme on Studying and following the ideology, morality and lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh and introducing the content of the works and articles of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to cadres, party members and workers in the entire Party Committee of the Bloc.

* On the morning of May 18, in Hue city, Nghe An Department of Tourism coordinated with Binh Dinh Department of Tourism and Thua Thien Hue Department of Tourism to organize a photo exhibition with the theme "Beautiful photos of tourism in the extended North Central provinces in 2024".

* Nam Dan is honored to be one of the four districts in the country to have the Central Government issue a pilot project to build a model new rural district.
