Nghe An: Highlights on March 31

* Nghe An develops industry and handicrafts rapidly and sustainably. That is the initial result after 3 years of implementing Resolution No. 07-NQ/TU dated December 23, 2021 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on rapid and sustainable development of industry and handicrafts in the period 2021-2030.

* Implementing Resolution No. 14 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial People's Committee strives to achieve the goal of "Reducing supply - Reducing demand - Reducing harm" of drugs by 2025; by 2030, remove Nghe An from the list of key and complicated drug-related areas in the country.

* On March 31, Emulation Group No. 5 - Nghe An Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Youth Union of Dong Nai Provincial Agencies to organize a program to visit and present gifts to soldiers working at Mat Island, Nghe An. The delegation presented officers and soldiers of Mat Island Mixed Battalion with 2 maps of Vietnam, along with many other meaningful gifts with a total value of 33 million VND.

* Growing vegetables, tubers and fruits in greenhouses all year round is not easy in the harsh climate of Nghe An. However, in mountainous districts, there are farmers who apply the State's support policies, actively learn from experience, and have succeeded after safe vegetable crops in greenhouses.

* Under the direction of the leaders of Nghe An Provincial Police, the Criminal Police Department of Nghe An Police and Yen Thanh District Police co-chaired and coordinated with the Ministry of Public Security's Professional Department to eradicate a large-scale inter-provincial gambling ring in the form of recording lottery numbers, arresting 10 subjects.
