"I was truly moved by the life of actor Cảnh Thanh, once so glorious, who in his later years became a musician, passing on his skills to young actors in the Viễn Phương theater troupe. The character is so much like me, so passionate about his profession, letting go of all worries and burdens of life to focus on learning and practicing his craft. Therefore, through the many ups and downs of the Viễn Phương troupe, and the desperate search for his lost wife and children, Cảnh Thanh realized he was in the passionate, daring youth of the young actor Cảnh Sơn. Watching the film, I kept wiping away tears because I saw how sacred the life of an artist is in protecting the 'Art of Theater'," artist Chí Tâm expressed.

Viewers of the film "Sáng đèn" first encountered Diep – from the play "Lan and Diep" by playwright Loan Thảo, the vinyl record of which brought artist Chí Tâm to the pinnacle of fame, his first foray into feature films. His advantage of being able to both play musical instruments and sing, along with his talent for composition, made his portrayal of the male character Cảnh Thanh incredibly convincing.
"Besides that, I also received invaluable support from Meritorious Artist Huu Chau in the role of the theater manager Vien Phuong, so many scenes evoked a feeling of profound emotion when I watched them again. Because the film so closely resembled the nomadic, transient life of an artist," artist Chi Tam recounted.

He also shared that during the filming, director Hoang Tuan Cuong was very meticulous, and the dialogue was adjusted to closely reflect the reality of old Cai Luong (Vietnamese traditional opera) troupes. "The script by To Thien Kieu almost fully recounts the ups and downs of a theater troupe. I admire the artistic spirit of the troupe and the crew, making the film 'Sang Den' a beautiful memory in my artistic life," artist Chi Tam confided.
Commenting on actors Bach Cong Khanh and Truc May's participation in the two main roles of the film "Sang Den," artist Chi Tam said that it was a great effort, through which the artistic mindset of young actors is adjusted, so that they wholeheartedly dedicate themselves to their profession, strive continuously, and always consider the goal of being "Sang Den," being beautiful, singing well, and receiving praise from the audience as the ultimate destination for an artist's life.
The film also features the participation of: Le Phuong, Kim Huyen, Hua Minh Dat, Tuan Dung, Le Trang, Tieu Minh Phung, Vu Thanh… and the support of People's Artist Hong Van, Meritorious Artist Kim Tu Long, Meritorious Artist Le Thien, Meritorious Artist Bach Long, Meritorious Artist Lam Tuyen, and artist Tan Thi, creating many emotions for the film about the life of an artist dedicated to the traditional art form of the nation. It offers a full range of emotions and brings tears to the audience's eyes.
