Announcing the postponement of events and promotional activities, the artists emphasized the need to prioritize information about the natural disaster situation and protect the safety of people. They also sent their deepest condolences to the families of the victims of the boat capsize in Ha Long.
Van Mai Huong and Thanh Duy postpone activities
On the afternoon of July 20, Van Mai Huong announced the postponement of the event to introduce and release the MV Uot long . Initially, she planned to hold the event on the afternoon of July 21.
She wrote: "Van Mai Huong and Van Production would like to send our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and sincere encouragement to the localities and units affected by the unexpected incident that just happened in Quang Ninh .
My team and I would like to announce that we will postpone the introduction event and release schedule of the MV "Uot long" on July 21 so that everyone can focus on following information related to the developments of storm number 3."
The singer apologized to the project team, partners, media agencies, artists, audiences... so that the product could be released at a more appropriate time. "I pray for peace for everyone" - she said.

Singer Thanh Duy is also about to release the MV WERK on July 30, with plans to promote it from July 19. But on July 19, he announced that he would postpone the promotion plan.
Thanh Duy wrote: "Due to the complicated storm situation, the team would like to postpone the 1st look post as planned to prioritize more important information at this time. Although we are very eager to share with everyone, the team believes that at this time, the concern and dissemination of the natural disaster situation as well as community support activities should be prioritized.
The new posting schedule will be updated once the situation is more stable. We hope everyone understands and continues to follow Thanh Duy in the future."
In Hanoi , due to the impact of super thunderstorms, the final night of K-pop Lovers Festival 2025 was also postponed from July 19 to the evening of July 20 at Tran Nhan Tong walking street.
The program will include singing and dancing competitions with guest artists such as My Anh, Lam Bao Ngoc, CongB and the dance group FED Crew.
Many artists mourn and offer condolences
On July 19 and 20, news about the victims and survivors of the capsized boat in Ha Long Bay made many people unable to hold back their tears.
MC and actor Tran Thanh wrote: "It's really heartbreaking to see the news! I would like to share my feelings and loss with the relatives of the victims of the shipwreck in Ha Long."
Ha Anh Tuan expressed his sadness: "A fierce storm took people away. The pain in Ha Long is the pain of the whole country. I wish peace for all people in Quang Ninh and the coastal areas of our country."
