Suspect of stabbing drinking buddy to death turns himself in

On May 16th, the Binh Duong Provincial Police Investigation Agency temporarily detained Nguyen Van Vinh (45 years old, residing in Bac Giang ) for investigation in connection with a death in Binh Hoa Ward (Thuan An City, Binh Duong Province).

According to initial investigations, on May 13th, Nguyen Van Vinh and Nguyen Van Giang (45 years old, residing in Thanh Hoa ) held a drinking party with several other people at a rented room in Dong An 3 residential area (Binh Hoa Ward, Thuan An City).

Suspect Nguyen Van Vinh turns himself in.

While drinking together, a conflict arose between Vinh and Giang, leading to challenges and a physical altercation.

Afterward, Vinh took a knife from the trunk of his motorbike, which was parked near the row of rented rooms, and stabbed Giang, causing him to collapse on the spot, before fleeing the scene.

Mr. Giang was taken to the hospital by his neighbors, but his injuries were too severe, and he died later.

After the victim's death, Vinh was persuaded to turn himself in to the police.
