Tonight (March 9th), the Miss World 2024 final officially takes place in Mumbai (India). In this important competition, Miss Mai Phuong and more than 100 contestants will compete to find the successor to the reigning Miss World, Karolina Bielawska.

According to the Miss World organizers, from over 100 contestants vying for the Miss World 2024 crown, the competition will select the Top 40 finalists. Following that, the organizers will select the Top 12 finalists (with at least two contestants from each continent). From the Top 12, the organizers will further select the Top 8 (two contestants from each continent). Finally, from the Top 8, only the Top 4 will compete to determine the winner of the Miss World 2024 crown and one runner-up.

Before the Miss World 2024 final, beauty pageant website Sash Factor predicted the winner from Trinidad and Tobago; Mai Phuong, representing Vietnam, was predicted to make it into the Top 20. Missosology predicted the winner from the Czech Republic would succeed Karolina Bielawska. However, this beauty pageant website did not include Mai Phuong in its prediction of the Top 20.

Mr. Tran Viet Bao Hoang - Head of the Miss Universe Vietnam Organizing Committee and the reigning Miss Universe Vietnam 2023, Bui Thi Xuan Hanh, also sent their congratulations and encouragement to Miss Mai Phuong. "Congratulations to Miss Mai Phuong for making it into the Top 40 after winning the Multimedia Challenge. Certainly, the results won't stop here. We wish Mai Phuong continued confidence to achieve new accomplishments," the Head of the Miss Universe Vietnam Organizing Committee expressed.

Miss World 2024 Final: Miss Mai Phuong and over 100 contestants compete.

The Miss World 2024 final opened with a group performance by 112 contestants in their national costumes. Following that, the beauties appeared in stunning evening gowns.

Following the evening gown performance by Mai Phuong – Vietnam's representative – and over 100 other contestants, the Miss World organizers announced the special awards within the competition. Accordingly, 13 beauties will automatically advance to the Top 40 of Miss World 2024, including: the representative from Martinique winning the Top Model award; the representative from Croatia winning the Sports Beauty award; the representative from Vietnam winning the Multimedia Challenge award; the representatives from Botswana, the UK, Lebanon, Nigeria, and Zimbabwe jointly winning the Head-to-Head Challenge; the representatives from Brazil, Ukraine, Uganda, and Nepal jointly winning the Beauty with a Purpose award; and the representative from Tunisia winning the Talent award. Therefore, the Miss World organizers will need to select 27 more contestants to advance to the Top 40.

According to the Miss World organizers, the remaining contestants in the Top 40 include: Belize, Canada, Dominican Republic, Peru, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, Cameroon, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Gibraltar, Italy, Spain, Wales, Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Turkey.

Miss World 2024 Final Results: Top 12 Revealed

The Brazilian representative was announced by the MC as one of the Top 12 contestants in the 71st Miss World pageant. The next contestants announced to make it into the Top 12 were: Trinidad and Tobago; Botswana; Martinique; Uganda; Czech Republic; Great Britain; Spain; Australia; India; and Lebanon.

The Top 8 of Miss World 2024, as announced by the organizers, are: Brazil; Trinidad and Tobago; Botswana; Uganda; Czech Republic; Great Britain; India; and Lebanon. These contestants officially entered the Q&A round.

Following the Q&A round of the Top 8, the Miss World organizers announced the Top 4 winners from each region: Trinidad and Tobago (Americas and the Caribbean); Botswana (Africa); the Czech Republic (Europe); and Lebanon (Asia- Pacific ). Unfortunately, the representative from host country India was eliminated in the Top 8.

Subsequently, the Miss World organizing committee announced that the title of First Runner-up for Miss World 2024 went to the beauty queen from Lebanon. The beauty queen from the Czech Republic became the new owner of the Miss World 2024 crown.
