Fruit seller dies after collision with tractor trailer

(NLĐO) - A woman riding a motorbike, pulling a makeshift container loaded with fruit for sale, unfortunately had an accident and died at the scene.

On the morning of March 2nd, traffic police officers from the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police Department examined the scene of a traffic accident that resulted in the death of a woman.

According to initial information, at approximately 9:00 AM on the same day, the driver was operating a tractor-trailer carrying goods on National Highway 51, traveling from Long Thanh District, Dong Nai Province towards Phu My City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province.

The woman selling fruit died at the scene.

Upon reaching the intersection of Nguyen Van Linh Street (Nemo intersection), in Phu My Ward, Phu My City, while turning into Phu My 1 Industrial Park, the vehicle collided with a motorbike pulling a makeshift trailer carrying fruit.

The collision resulted in the woman's death at the scene. The motorbike was damaged, and the fruit was scattered on the road.

The accident occurred right at the intersection of Phu My 1 Industrial Zone.

The incident occurred in the morning when a large number of vehicles carrying tourists from Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces were traveling to Vung Tau City, causing traffic congestion and slow-moving vehicles.

Police from Phu My ward, Phu My city, secured the scene and regulated traffic in the area.
