With the spirit of initiative and creativity of the city's youth in the digital transformation process, many activities have been digitized, contributing to promoting socio -economic development, building Da Nang into a smart, modern and livable city.
Creativity for the community
At the end of July, Dien Ban Dong Ward Youth Union established a "Technology Response Team" to support people in the process of carrying out administrative procedures and adapting to the 2-level local government model.
The rescue team is responsible for guiding and supporting people in carrying out administrative procedures after the merger, providing information on addresses to access online public services and hotlines to receive and process applications. Team members directly support people in submitting applications online at home, "holding hands and showing them how to do things" at the One-Stop-Shop, paying special attention to vulnerable groups, the elderly, and those with limited access to technology.
In addition, the team also receives and initially handles simple technical problems related to infrastructure and equipment such as computers, printers, and internal networks; complex cases will be immediately reported to the City-level Working Group or the business's corresponding team through established communication channels. Every day, the team conducts system, infrastructure, and equipment checks before working hours to ensure smooth operation.
Currently, the model is deployed with 35 response teams at the Public Administration Service Center and residential blocks, each team consisting of 7 members, forming a widespread technology support network.
Understanding the psychology of students, since the beginning of July, the Student Advisory Team, University of Technology (University of Danang) has proactively applied digital technology to support the search for accommodation. Through surveying and synthesizing information about accommodation areas around the school, the Student Advisory Team updates data on the application "Bk's Map" - a digital map of accommodation information exclusively for Polytechnic students.
With a simple QR code scan, students can easily look up the location of the accommodation on the map, estimate the distance to school, travel direction, and access detailed information about the address, phone number, area, rental price and room availability. This method not only helps students save time and money but also minimizes the risk of being scammed or encountering rooms that are not true to reality.
Bui Quoc Khanh, Head of the Student Information Advisory Team, informed that at the new student fair, the team arranged a QR code map of the boarding house to introduce and guide new students in finding a room. Since the beginning of August, the application has received 75,426 visits; surveyed 100 boarding houses and all found new residents; provided online support for 70 students.

Spread in every activity
Dien Ban Ward Youth Union said that they are currently promoting and guiding the model of "Cashless stalls" at traditional markets and grocery stores. Accordingly, young people support people to install and use e-wallets and guide small traders to pay via QR codes.
At the same time, the "Digital Bridge" model is maintained effectively, with at least 2 union members/residential area directly supporting people 24/7 via phone, zalo or home visit, creating closeness and improving the effectiveness of digitalization program implementation.
Within the framework of the Danang Youth Festival pioneering digital transformation in 2025, the City Youth Union inaugurated the project "Digitizing the traditional room of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the city" - a virtual reality tour using modern technology, bringing a new and vivid experience to viewers.
The digital space allows users to experience the traditional room in an online environment, as if they were directly entering each exhibition space. Viewers can interact and explore historical periods and outstanding achievements of the Youth Union through each period, while admiring precious images, documentary videos and historical artifacts that are vividly recreated. Through that, the journey of dedication and growth of Da Nang youth is recounted in an attractive, inspiring and closer way to the young generation.
Secretary of the Da Nang City Youth Union Le Cong Hung shared: “The digital space of the traditional room helps union members and young people to sit at home but still experience the glorious historical journey of the Union in a realistic and modern way”. Mr. Le Cong Hung added that the City Youth Union is promoting the application of technology to remote areas, supporting smart devices and digital communications, helping all union members and young people to access, learn and be proud of the glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Da Nang City.
