According to Hua Kim Tuyen, "Sunshine in the Yard" is set in a family where the mother is away, leaving only the father at home to take care of the children. In contrast to the mother, who always protects her children, the father wants his children to go out into the yard to play, freely experience, and explore .

Lessons learned from my father.

Through this song, Hua Kim Tuyen hopes to send a message to parents: "The sunshine and rain outside can help our children grow and discover many things. It's a fact that Vietnamese parents often overprotect their children, wanting them to live a safe life, free from too many hardships. But I think children should be allowed to experience and explore nature more so they can be healthier and have better immunity."

Previously, Hứa Kim Tuyền composed "Twenty-Two"—a touching song about mother-daughter love performed by AMEE—but "Sunshine in the Yard" offers a father's perspective on his child's equally heartfelt affection. As a young musician who always puts his thoughts and real experiences into each composition, Hứa Kim Tuyền has touched the hearts of the audience with each song, continuously expanding the narrative in his music not only about romantic love but also about family bonds, providing a multifaceted perspective on relationships within the family.

"Sunshine in the Yard" has resonated deeply with parents and children alike due to its gentle, relatable, and practical story. "Hopefully, this sunshine will nurture many more little flowers, allowing children to freely explore their childhood, growing up innocent, healthy, and happy under the guidance, teaching, and support of their parents," said Hứa Kim Tuyền.

Give an old song a new look.

The recently revamped version of the song "Little Elephant in Buon Don" has also attracted many listeners. Almost everyone knows this familiar children's song from their childhood, but now, with its modern arrangement and orchestration, listeners who were familiar with the song are particularly delighted, while younger listeners who haven't heard it before acknowledge it as "a beautiful, unique, and emotional piece of music."

Giving old children's songs a fresh, modern look is becoming a popular trend that is captivating audiences today. Songs like "Little Frog," "Little Rose," and "Heal the World," when performed by children's choirs, have received much praise from the audience. Traditional folk songs such as "Drum Rice" from Vietnam and "Arirang" from Korea also become more interesting when given a new, contemporary feel.

Composer Nguyen Van Chung, who created the anthology "300 Children's Songs," said that to attract young audiences, it's necessary to consider factors such as modern rhythms, authentic language, and closeness to childhood experiences. Educational messages should be subtly and skillfully integrated, avoiding empty slogans.

"Songs like 'Come Home for Dinner,' 'Bong Bong Bang Bang,' 'Mother's Diary,' 'Mom, Do You Know?', 'The Hungry Stomach'... are loved by children because of their catchy, trendy melodies and meaningful, fun lyrics. Children's songs, if they 'befriend' genres like pop, rock, R&B, or even rap, hip hop, EDM… will be even easier to win over children's tastes," - musician Nguyen Van Chung observed.

According to musician Nguyen Ngoc Thien, in the past 10 years, there haven't been many new and good compositions for children, creating a "gap" in children's music. However, with what's happening now, the reinterpretation of old songs or the writing of new songs that suit listeners' tastes and aesthetics shows that the children's music market is receiving attention and promises to flourish.
