(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Musician Luu Thien Huong said that this is the first time she has accepted an invitation to be a judge on a singing talent search program with contestants up to 60 years old.
On March 22nd in Ho Chi Minh City, the organizers of the "Global Vietnamese Singing Contest 2025" held a press conference to launch its third season. This is a platform to discover talented Vietnamese singers worldwide .
This year, the competition has expanded the age range of contestants from 15 to 60 years old, which also presents a challenge for the judging panel. Musician and music producer Luu Thien Huong - a member of the judging panel - said that this is the first time she has accepted an invitation to sit on the judging panel of a program with such a wide range of contestants.
When asked if she would show favoritism to her students if they participated, Luu Thien Huong said: "You can 'cheat' in any profession, but not in this one, because all your talent will be showcased on stage."
"And if it were my student, besides me, there would be other judges evaluating them. I cannot and would not act against professional ethics."
