On December 12th, Vietnamese athletes continued their successful performance, winning 10 more gold medals, bringing their total to 24 gold medals after three days of competition.
Today (December 13th), Vietnamese athletes are competing in 30 sports, many of which are finals. Swimming, athletics, martial arts, shooting... continue to be expected "gold mines" for the Vietnamese sports delegation.

Notably, track and field athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh will compete in the first of her three registered events at the SEA Games, the 5000m race. The golden girl of Vietnamese athletics has won 4 gold medals at the 32nd SEA Games and currently has 12 gold medals across all SEA Games. Nguyen Thi Oanh has a great opportunity to surpass the record of Nguyen Thi Huyen (13 gold medals at the SEA Games) and become the "Queen of Athletics" of Vietnamese sports.
