The annual Pho Day program is jointly organized by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Cultural Diplomacy (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), the Department of Trade Promotion ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ), the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam Culinary Culture Association, and Tuoi Tre Newspaper, with the diamond sponsorship of Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company.

The Pho Day program aims to contribute to making Pho a world intangible cultural heritage, through telling the story of rice grains and pho noodles with unique cultural, culinary, diplomatic and economic values. Pho Day has become a major festival event nationwide and has also reached out internationally under the name "Vietnam Pho Festival" to Japan, Korea and most recently Singapore.

In 2025, the Pho Day 2025 event will take place on December 13 and 14, 2025 at the Tax Trade Center (old), 135 Nguyen Hue, Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. More than 30 pho stalls with many famous domestic and international brands will participate in the event. The program is expected to serve more than 20,000 bowls of pho and attract about 100,000 visitors.

Representatives of agencies and units coordinating the event discussed the activities of Pho Day 2025.

The organizers will deduct at least 10% of the revenue from pho sales during the two days of the event, together with the cooperation of readers and accompanying units, to send to people who suffered a lot of damage due to storms and floods in Dak Lak province in the recent natural disaster. At the same time, the organizers emphasize the story of "spreading to five continents" by encouraging and receiving information from pho restaurants at home and abroad - with activities and events responding to Pho Day, to promote and tell pho stories to the world.

Within the framework of Pho Day, the public can also participate in experiential activities, the game "On the shoulders of giants" to learn about pho and enjoy special art nights.
