Attending the activities in Tan Trao were comrades: former General Secretary, former Chairman of the National Assembly Nong Duc Manh; Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man , along with Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly, leaders of central and local departments, ministries, branches and representatives of the people of Tan Trao commune.
Speaking at the ceremony held at the ATK Museum, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man stated that Tuyen Quang is a land rich in revolutionary traditions, culture, history, and has an important strategic position in the country. This place bears the mark of the revolutionary activities of President Ho Chi Minh, the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the Government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and central ministries and branches during the resistance war. "80 years ago, this was the place where the National Congress took place, a great event that opened a new page in the history of the nation, laying the foundation for the birth of the Vietnamese National Assembly," the National Assembly Chairman emotionally recalled.

On this occasion, the National Assembly Chairman expressed his deep gratitude to revolutionary elders, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the Armed Forces, Labor Heroes; families with meritorious services to the country, compatriots, cadres and soldiers who sacrificed and contributed to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and the happiness of the people.
Affirming the country's important achievements under the Party's leadership after nearly 40 years of implementing the renovation process, the National Assembly Chairman also acknowledged that Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang provinces had previously made encouraging developments: budget revenue increased and exceeded the plan, the poverty rate decreased, infrastructure investment increased rapidly, new rural construction achieved positive results, village roads, alleys, houses were spacious and clean; tourism and agricultural production flourished. After the merger, Tuyen Quang province promptly and fully implemented the policies and instructions of the Central Government...

“Continuing the revolutionary tradition and promoting the achievements, Tuyen Quang needs to continue to innovate, be more creative and determined, overcome all difficulties and challenges; build a clean and strong political system; achieve growth targets; develop science and technology, innovation, green and sustainable growth, develop tourism associated with nature, history and culture; preserve, conserve and promote the value of cultural heritages, and constantly improve the material and spiritual life of the people,” the National Assembly Chairman emphasized.
According to the National Assembly Chairman, the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, and the Government always pay attention to the ethnic minorities of Tuyen Quang province, together with Tuyen Quang to remove difficulties and obstacles, promote rapid and sustainable development in the new era of the nation. In the immediate future, successfully organize the first Provincial Party Congress, actively contribute to the 14th National Congress of the Party and the election of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

Comrade Tran Thanh Man stated: “This year's source activities are not only to pay tribute to our predecessors but also an opportunity to remind today's generation, especially the young generation, to more deeply understand the significance of the country's achievements, and to work together to fulfill the wish of beloved President Ho Chi Minh: the Vietnamese people will step up to the stage of glory to stand shoulder to shoulder with the world powers.”
Before that, the delegation attended and cut the ribbon to inaugurate the Temple of President Ton Duc Thang, offered incense at Na Nua hut; paid tribute at the Uncle Ho Monument and Tan Trao communal house. The delegates also watched the reportage and listened to the heartfelt words of former Vice President Truong My Hoa and former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Kien.

Attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the Temple of President Ton Duc Thang, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man respectfully wrote in the guest book:
“Exactly on this day 80 years ago, the National Congress met in Tan Trao, issued many important decisions, leading to the victory of the August Revolution and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, opening the era of independence and freedom, with the people being the masters of the country.
In the sacred and emotional atmosphere of the historic August days, the delegation of the Vietnamese National Assembly respectfully offered incense, remembering the great contributions of President Ton Duc Thang - an exemplary leader, a staunch communist, a shining example of revolutionary morality, a lifetime of struggle and sacrifice for the revolutionary cause of the Party and the Vietnamese people.
Generations of National Assembly deputies vow to forever maintain their faith in the Party, strive to study, cultivate and practice following the moral example of President Ton Duc Thang, promote the spirit of solidarity, responsibility and innovation, strive to overcome all difficulties, build a comprehensively developed Vietnamese National Assembly worthy of the people's trust and expectations, contribute to bringing the country firmly into a new era of the nation, successfully build a socialist Vietnam, a rich people, a strong country, democracy, fairness and civilization.
Propose that Tuyen Quang province take care of and do a good job of preserving and managing the Memorial House of President Ton Duc Thang, the National Assembly Standing Committee Relic Site and the Tan Trao Special National Relic Site, so that this place becomes a red address for educating patriotism for the younger generations.
