Many typical products and strengths of localities have been registered for protection.

In recent times, intellectual property activities in Quang Tri province have gradually received attention and development, contributing to improving the competitiveness of products, especially the province's special agricultural products.

Up to now, the whole province has registered for protection 2 geographical indications (Quang Tri Pepper and Quang Tri Vang Tea), 6 certified trademarks and 59 collective trademarks for typical products and strengths of the localities.

Specifically, the province has effectively implemented Plan 155/KH-UBND dated August 3, 2022 of the Provincial People's Committee to implement the Intellectual Property Development Program of Quang Tri province until 2030. Focusing on propagating and disseminating knowledge about intellectual property to organizations and individuals in the province; ways to protect, manage and exploit intellectual property rights for traditional specialty products, regulations and rules on the use of protected trademarks; acts of infringement of rights to trademarks, trade names, authority to handle administrative violations; guidance on intellectual property management, trademark registration... and a number of support policies of the province in the field of intellectual property.

It is known that Quang Tri province is currently implementing the task of "Registering protection, management and development of geographical indications for the product "Khe Sanh Coffee" of Quang Tri province" under the Intellectual Property Development Program until 2030.
