A panoramic view of the venue for the Investment and Trade Promotion Conference themed " Hai Phong – A Strategic Destination for the New Era". Within the framework of the 3rd APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC 3) Conference, Hai Phong City organized an investment and trade promotion conference with the theme "Hai Phong - A Strategic Destination of the New Era," held at the City Convention and Performance Center. On the morning of July 15th, the Hai Phong City Convention and Performance Center was decorated with flags, flowers, and banners to welcome approximately 1,000 delegates, including ambassadors and business leaders from 21 member economies, to the 3rd APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC 3) meeting.
The conference venue is the Hai Phong City Convention and Performance Center, which was inaugurated in May 2025 and boasts a unique architectural design.
The Hai Phong Convention and Performance Center boasts a unique architectural design, shaped by ocean waves and rivers. Viewed from above, the structure resembles a droplet falling onto a calm surface, creating resonant waves, symbolizing convergence. The building has three floors, including a large auditorium with a capacity of 1,500 seats. In addition, there is a 500-seat multi-purpose hall, a round-table meeting room with 100 seats, and smaller meeting rooms with 20-100 seats. The center meets the requirements and standards for hosting large-scale political , diplomatic, conference, and artistic events of national and international significance.
Earlier that morning, many delegates representing APEC economies arrived at the Hai Phong Convention and Performance Center to prepare for the Investment Promotion Conference and discussion sessions.
From the lobby to the conference hall, everything was decorated with colorful flags and flowers, and visually appealing promotional banners, welcoming delegates to the conference.
