Within the framework of the 3rd APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC 3) Meeting, Hai Phong City organized a Trade and Investment Promotion Conference with the theme “Hai Phong - Strategic Destination of the New Era”, taking place at the City Convention and Performance Center.

On the morning of July 15, the Hai Phong City Convention and Performance Center was decorated with flags and banners to welcome about 1,000 delegates, including ambassadors and business leaders from 21 member economies, to the 3rd APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC 3) Meeting.

The conference venue is the Hai Phong City Convention and Performance Center, which was inaugurated in May 2025 with unique architecture.

Hai Phong Convention and Performance Center has a unique architecture, shaped by ocean waves and rivers. Seen from above, the building resembles the effect of water drops falling on a calm water surface, creating homophonic waves, meaning convergence.

The project has a scale of 3 floors with a large hall with a capacity of 1,500 seats. In addition, there is a 500-seat multi-purpose hall, a round table meeting room with 100 seats and a small meeting room from 20-100 seats. The center meets the conditions and standards to organize political events, foreign affairs, conferences, and art performances on a large scale, national and international scale.
