A gnarled starfruit tree is being offered for sale by its owner for 2.2 billion VND.

An ancient starfruit tree with a unique shape, located at the Lam Son Square Tet flower market ( Thanh Hoa City), is being offered for sale by its owner for 2.2 billion VND, attracting many curious visitors.

Mr. Thien Phu (from Vinh Long province) - the owner of the starfruit tree - said that 20 years ago, he bought this tree from a couple in the province.

"When I bought it, the trunk was already rough, and the roots were growing in beautiful clusters. However, to get the tree to its current state, I had to take care of it and shape it further. I'm currently selling this tree for 2.2 billion VND," Mr. Phu shared.

This is the first time he has brought his tree to Thanh Hoa for display. His starfruit tree is about 4 meters tall, and the base and trunk have many rough, gnarled bumps, giving it a very ancient look. This starfruit tree flowers all year round.

This starfruit tree is currently flowering, bearing fruit, and producing young leaves. Its fibrous root system provides the tree with a stable base.

The pair of pine trees is worth over 2.7 billion VND.

According to Tien Phong newspaper , at the Ha Long flower fair ( Quang Ninh ), the highlight is a pair of cypress trees priced by the gardeners at 1.2 billion VND and 1.5 billion VND respectively.

The garden owner said that the pair of pine trees were transported by car from Lam Dong province. Many people who enjoy ornamental plants were surprised by the price of these two masterpieces.

Besides the pair of cypress trees mentioned above, at the fair, orchid pots worth hundreds of millions of dong were transported by plane by traders to serve people during Tet.

In addition, this year's Ha Long flower fair also features many potted peach blossom trees with less-than-perfect petals, some of which are ancient. These trees are shaped into unusual forms and are selling for tens of millions of dong each.

According to Investment Knowledge, this apricot blossom tree belongs to Mr. Dinh Van Trong (Rach Gia City).

Mr. Trong bought this apricot blossom tree from Vinh Long province and is offering it for sale at 12.9 billion VND. Mr. Trong said that three years ago, this tree could have sold for more than 15 billion VND.

Many bonsai enthusiasts in Kien Giang and neighboring provinces have come to visit and admire the rare beauty of this apricot blossom tree.

Orchid pot worth nearly 4 billion VND

At the Tet flower market opposite My Dinh Stadium (Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi), a pot of phalaenopsis orchids named "Golden Dragon Jade Orchid" recently appeared, attracting the attention of flower enthusiasts.

According to Nguoi Dua Tin, this orchid pot is made from more than 2,868 yellow phalaenopsis orchid branches transported from Da Lat. This yellow phalaenopsis orchid pot is nearly 6 meters tall, has a canopy 2 meters wide, and the total weight of the pot is approximately over 2 tons.

Remarkably, the pot used for the orchids weighs over 1 ton, is intricately carved with the image of 9 dragons, and is all plated with 24K gold. The amount of gold used to plate the pot is estimated at around 20 taels.

This flower pot is being offered for sale by the manufacturer at a price of 3.868 billion VND.

Also at the flower market, many orchid pots made from driftwood are decorated in various styles, offering people a wide selection to choose from for Tet. The orchid pots here range in price from 5 to 70 million VND, depending on their shape and size.
