The winners of the prestigious awards, totaling nearly 115 billion VND (equivalent to 4.5 million USD), will be officially announced at the VinFuture 2024 Awards Ceremony.

Artistic Highlights in the Grand Finale Following the resounding success of the previous three seasons, VinFuture 2024 attracted a record number of nearly 1,500 research projects, nominated by over 9,000 partners from more than 80 countries and territories worldwide. The number of international scientists becoming nominating partners increased nearly eightfold, and the number of nominations increased 2.5 times compared to the first season, demonstrating the scale, reach, and international prestige of VinFuture. The 4th VinFuture Awards ceremony will bring together hundreds of the world's most outstanding minds in key fields that contribute to shaping the future of the world, such as materials science, artificial intelligence, medicine, environmental research, etc. Among them are many researchers who are recipients of prestigious international awards, such as the Nobel, Millennium Technology, and Turing awards, as well as winners of previous VinFuture awards.

As usual, this year's VinFuture awards system includes four categories. The main prize, worth over 76 billion VND (equivalent to 3 million USD), is one of the largest annual awards ever held globally. Three special prizes, each worth nearly 13 billion VND (equivalent to 500,000 USD), will be awarded to female scientists, scientists from developing countries, and scientists researching emerging fields. The VinFuture Awards Council comprises prestigious scientists and inventors from leading educational institutions, research institutes, and technology corporations worldwide. Ahead of the awards ceremony, scientists have been predicting the fields that will be honored at this year's awards. Among them, "hot" fields that receive special attention from the global research community, such as climate change, energy security, global health, and artificial intelligence (AI), are considered strong contenders.
