In recent days, the Culture - Sports sector has been one of the sectors that has received much attention from the public and people nationwide. Artists wearing Ao Dai participated in practice to prepare for the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2. Although it was hard work, everyone was happy, honored and proud to have contributed a small part to the country's important holiday.
Director of the Department of Performing Arts Xuan Bac visited and encouraged artists participating in rehearsal A80.
People's Artist Thu Que said that during the rehearsal days for the parade, she and her fellow artists had to wake up very early to prepare, move around a lot and lack sleep, but as a soldier (she currently works at the Army Drama Theater), and having been conscious of exercising since she was young, she was still able to maintain her dynamism and fresh demeanor.
People's Artist Thu Que is proud to participate in the A80 event.
She said, on the day of the rehearsal, according to the rules, I had to be at the gathering point at 0:30 to get on the bus, but that night, I still attended the Closing Ceremony of the Military Cinema Week (the evening of August 29) because there were 2 films I acted in that were competing: "Where we don't belong" (produced in 2018, opening show) and "Song of the night" (produced in 1995, closing show).
The event ended at 10pm, so I didn't go home and took the bus to the meeting point earlier than everyone else so I could sleep and regain my strength. Then the schedule changed to 1:30am, so I got a few hours of sleep so I didn't feel exhausted during the rehearsal.
The veteran artist chose the ao dai design by designer Bich Lien.
In addition, instead of spending time waiting for a makeup artist, I do my own makeup and spend that time sleeping to regain strength. Thanks to the scientific arrangement, I do not get tired and lack sleep. Besides, it is also thanks to my innate endurance because I am a soldier, used to training and the ability to adapt in all situations.
On normal days, I also spend a lot of time exercising, eating and resting regularly, so even though I have to stay up late and wake up early these past few days, I still maintain my dynamism and bright spirit.
The design is tight but has 4-way stretch material to bring comfort to the wearer.
Sharing about the ao dai design this time, People's Artist Thu Que said: "I chose the red ao dai design by designer Bich Lien to match the radiant atmosphere of the national festival.
In addition, the material is the top requirement because although the time for training and moving is not much, the waiting time is very long. The weather in the past few days has been erratic, so if there is no good material, it will be very uncomfortable.
Designer Bich Lien chose a tight-fitting material to flatter the figure but still ensure softness and stretch to create comfort for the wearer. That's why every time there is an important event, I always look for Bich Lien's designs."

Designer Bich Lien said she was very happy and proud to always accompany People's Artist Thu Que in important events. Previously, she designed Ao Dai for People's Artist Thu Que to participate in the Golden Kite Award, Theater Festival and this time the A80 event.
"Seeing artists wearing Ao Dai participating in the parade not only brings aesthetic beauty but also evokes pride in the country and national traditions. In addition, this is also an opportunity for Ao Dai to spread more widely, helping designers convey the message to the public, to preserve and cherish the values of Ao Dai, because it is a cultural heritage, a unique attraction of Vietnamese women," said designer Bich Lien.
