Female valedictorian of block C dreams of becoming a teacher

In a conversation with PNVN Newspaper, Yen Nhi could not hide her joy, happiness and especially her deep gratitude when talking about the achievements she has made.

Yen Nhi shared that up to now, the female student still cannot believe that she has become the valedictorian of block C00 with a near-perfect score. "This morning, when I found out the exam results, I was very worried, I didn't even dare to enter my registration number to directly look up the scores. Seeing me like that, my mother was the one who helped me look up the exam results," Yen Nhi shared.

The moment of breaking out when the score of 29.75 was read out loud by Yen Nhi's mother. At this moment, the female student dared to look at the screen to verify the score and then the two of them hugged each other and cried with boundless joy. "Mom is the person who has accompanied me since I went to school, studied for exams and now she is also the person who has accompanied me when I check my score," Yen Nhi emotionally said.

Yen Nhi added that the score she achieved today is the "sweet fruit" after months of hard work studying. "I want to share this joy with my family, teachers, and friends who have always accompanied and helped me throughout my studies," Yen Nhi confided.

Finally, the female student said that this was the result she wanted to achieve for herself when she dared to overcome anxiety and fear to pursue her dream. "Pursuing block C, when the exam was near, I received a lot of information saying that block C is no longer suitable for the times or that many schools have removed block C from the university entrance exam combination, so I was very confused. However, I overcame that to complete the exams well," Yen Nhi confided.

Sharing her experience studying for block C, Yen Nhi said that for Literature, participating in excellent student competitions since middle school helped her practice and consider this her major subject. Regarding History and Geography, right from the end of grade 11, Yen Nhi had a specific review plan: "In the summer, I focused on learning all the basic knowledge, then from the middle of grade 12, I started practicing and reviewing knowledge interspersed with practicing questions," the female student said.

With this impressive result, Yen Nhi plans to study at the Faculty of Literature at Hanoi National University of Education. Yen Nhi's dream of becoming a teacher not only comes from her personal passion but is also nurtured by family tradition as her grandmother, uncles and most recently her mother all have a tradition of being teachers. "Therefore, the image of a teacher has been really beautiful in my eyes since I was very young," Yen Nhi added.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ut Suong, homeroom teacher of class 12D1, assessed Yen Nhi as a student who excels in all subjects. Among them, her achievements in social subjects are the most outstanding. Not only that, in addition to her impressive academic achievements, Yen Nhi also actively participates in union and social activities inside and outside the school.

"This morning, when Nhi told me the news, I felt very happy because her efforts have been rewarded. I also hope that Yen Nhi will soon become a talented and dedicated teacher like her dream," Ms. Suong shared.
