Mr. Dang Hoang Giang continues to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The Prime Minister has transferred Mr. Dang Hoang Giang, former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Representative of Vietnam to the United Nations in the United States, to return to work and continue to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

On July 16, 2025, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh signed Decision No. 1545/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on transferring Mr. Dang Hoang Giang to continue holding the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Specifically, the Prime Minister decided to transfer Mr. Dang Hoang Giang, former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Representative of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the United Nations in New York, USA, to return to work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , continuing to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The term of office of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs is calculated from March 12, 2021.

Mr. Dang Hoang Giang was born in 1977 in Bac Ninh; graduated with a Master's degree in International Relations from the Diplomatic Academy.

Mr. Dang Hoang Giang started working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2000, holding many positions. From March 2021 to February 2022, before being appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Head of the Vietnamese Mission to the United Nations, Mr. Dang Hoang Giang was Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

On July 17, 2025, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh also signed the Prime Minister's Decision to re-appoint the position of Member of the Board of Directors and Head of the Supervisory Board of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies.

Specifically, in Decision No. 1546/QD-TTg dated July 17, 2025, the Prime Minister reappointed Mr. Nguyen Manh Tu to hold the position of Member of the Board of Directors and Head of the Supervisory Board of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies.

This Decision takes effect from June 12, 2025.
