Mr. Jonathan Hạnh Nguyễn successfully bid on three paintings worth $50,000 and contributed an additional $50,000, totaling 2.4 billion VND, to charity.
On October 16th, IPPG Chairman Johnathan Hạnh Nguyễn and his wife, Lê Hồng Thủy Tiên, completed the donation of $100,000 to the Charity Fund of the Ho Chi Minh City Consulates General Club.
According to the fund's representative, all proceeds from the auction of paintings, handbags, and other valuable items will be donated directly to three organizations: Planète Enfants and Dévelopment Vietnam (supporting Vietnamese women who have experienced domestic violence), VietHarvest (donating food to disadvantaged Vietnamese communities), and VinaCapital Foundation (the "Brighter Path Girl's Club" project, which raises awareness and educates ethnic minority girls).

Earlier, at a dinner themed "Together We Become Stronger" in Ho Chi Minh City at the end of September, Mr. Hanh Nguyen spent $50,000 bidding on three woodblock prints by artist Duong Ngoc Canh and donated an additional $50,000 to charity.
After the auction, Mr. Hanh Nguyen decided to donate two paintings to representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs and Mrs. Milena Padula - the wife of the Italian Consul General and President of the Ho Chi Minh City Consulate General's Charity Fund. He gifted the remaining artwork to his wife.
Mr. Jonathan Hạnh Nguyễn expressed his emotion upon watching the series of charitable programs in Vietnam organized by the wives of consuls general, diplomats , and the expatriate community living and working in the country.
"As a Vietnamese citizen, I have a duty to join hands with diplomats to do more good for the people of my country. We need your support to move towards a developed Vietnam. We need a united world , forgetting about Covid-19 and war, and helping to make human life better."

Ms. Milena Padula, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Consulate General's Charity Fund, revealed that the fundraising event was a sell-out, receiving support from many individuals and organizations, including Ms. Pham Tran Thanh Thao, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Enrico Padula, Consul General of Italy, and his wife. Also in attendance were trade attachés and consuls general from 20 countries in Ho Chi Minh City, such as France, Australia, Singapore, India, Thailand, and domestic and international businesses.
"On behalf of the fund, I sincerely thank IPPG Chairman Johnathan Hạnh Nguyễn for his kindness and contribution. I will hang the painting at the consulate general to mark a successful fundraising event," said Milena Padula. Ms. Thanh Thảo, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs, also highly appreciated Mr. Hạnh Nguyễn's generous gesture.

For many years, the IPPG Group and the IPPG Community Foundation (coordinated by Director Tien Nguyen - daughter of Mr. Hanh Nguyen) have been actively promoting social work and charitable activities. Tien Nguyen stated that she always carefully considers and evaluates new programs before participating.
"The IPPG Community Foundation focuses on a series of meaningful and practical programs and projects that benefit both children and Vietnamese education, spreading positive values to the community," said Tien Nguyen.
