Mr. Nguyen Duc Tai collected tens of billions, SeABank boss could not sell any shares

Mr. Nguyen Duc Tai has sold 1 million MWG shares.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Tai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mobile World Investment Corporation (MWG), has announced that he sold 1 million shares as previously registered, from September 9-19, through the order matching method.

Based on MWG's market price of approximately 68,000 VND/share, it is estimated that Chairman Nguyen Duc Tai earned around 68 billion VND.

Previously, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tai sold 2 million MWG shares between June 7th and 19th through order matching. Based on the average closing price of 62,800 VND/share, it is estimated that Mr. Tai earned approximately 126 billion VND.

Currently, the chairman of Mobile World Group holds 32.4 million shares, equivalent to 2.2% of the capital.

At MWG, another executive also announced the sale of shares. Mr. Dang Minh Luom, a member of the Board of Directors, announced his intention to sell 1 million shares between September 25th and October 24th. If completed, Mr. Luom will still own 2.2 million shares, equivalent to 0.15% of the capital.

On the stock market, MWG shares have been rising continuously. Since the beginning of the year, the market value of MWG has increased by 60%.

The deputy general director of Seabank failed to sell any shares.

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy General Director of SeABank (SSB), has announced that he was unable to sell any of the 110,000 shares he registered to buy between August 22nd and September 20th. The reason for the failed transaction was that market conditions did not meet expectations. Currently, Mr. Tuan Anh holds over 386,000 shares, equivalent to 0.014%.

Notably, Mr. Le Tuan Anh (son of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Nguyen Thi Nga) has registered to sell 1.5 million SSB shares from September 12th to October 9th. Previously, from June 21st to July 16th, Mr. Tuan Anh successfully sold 1 million shares, reducing his ownership stake from 1.944% to 1.904% (equivalent to 47.5 million shares).

Deputy General Director Nguyen Hong Quang successfully sold 145,000 shares on September 5th, reducing his ownership stake from nearly 0.02% to nearly 0.015%.

SeABank shares began to fall sharply from the end of August, from 20,000 VND/share to around 16,000 VND/share currently.

Ms. Cao Thi Ngoc Dung purchased ESOP shares.

Ms. Cao Thi Ngoc Dung, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ), has just announced the purchase of 264,100 shares on September 19th, under the ESOP scheme.

PNJ plans to issue over 3.34 million shares under its employee stock option program (ESOP), equivalent to 1% of its outstanding shares, at an issue price of VND 20,000 per share.

100% of the ESOP shares will be subject to transfer restrictions for 12 months, 70% for 24 months, and 40% for 36 months from the date of completion of the issuance.

Previously, PNJ finalized its decision to pay the second dividend for 2023 at a rate of 14% in cash. As of June 30th, Ms. Dung held over 9.3 million shares, equivalent to 2.8% of the charter capital. With this payment, Ms. Dung received over 13 billion VND and nearly 19 billion VND for both payments combined.

According to the recently published report, in the first eight months of 2024, PNJ achieved net revenue of VND 26,866 billion and after-tax profit of VND 1,281 billion.
