After a lifetime of hard work, this old woman only managed to save 42 million dong, but she still wants to divide it equally among her six children.

The touching story of Ms. Tố Anh's family in China is being widely shared on the Toutiao online platform.

Mrs. Tố Anh, 90 years old, lives in a poor rural village in Hebei Province, China. Her entire life has been intertwined with this land, and it is the rice paddies here that have sustained her six children.

Mrs. To Anh has six children, three sons and three daughters. She married her husband at the age of 19. Both came from farming families, so when they got married, they had no valuable possessions except a buffalo and hoes for farming. Their love was genuine, and Mrs. Anh and her husband worked together to earn a living.

The couple had six children. For decades, life was never free from hardship, but the family always loved and supported each other. Because of poverty, Mrs. Anh's children had to drop out of school to follow in their parents' footsteps in farming. Only the two youngest children went to the city to start businesses at the wholesale market.

Mrs. Anh's husband passed away early, leaving her to raise six children alone. Her current life is far from comfortable. Nine years ago, due to old age and declining health, her children advised her to stay home and rest, completely stopping her work collecting scrap metal. Later, her children also lacked the financial means to fully support their mother. However, they still gather at her house every week to ease her loneliness.

A few days ago, Mrs. Anh felt unwell. Sensing something was wrong, she called all six of her children home to give them instructions.

After a lifetime of hard work, she has only managed to save 12,000 RMB (approximately 42 million VND). Although the amount is not large, Ms. Anh still wants to divide it equally among her six children, giving each of them 7 million VND.

The old woman always felt guilty towards her six children for not being able to give them a proper education.

Now, with only 42 million dong in assets, she worries she will hurt her children and disappoint them. However, the reaction of her six children surprised and moved her deeply.

Seeing their mother take out 12,000 yuan from a white plastic bag, Tố Anh's six children couldn't control their emotions.

Everyone shed tears of pity for their suffering mother. Called to receive the money, from the eldest son, who was over 60, to the youngest, everyone knelt before their venerable elderly mother.

Not a single word of criticism or reproach was uttered; instead, there were words of gratitude and affectionate hugs for the old woman.
