Speaking after the loss to U22 Vietnam, coach Ha Hyeok-jun said: "I believe the players tried their best until the last minute. The result was not as expected, but I am proud of my students."
Regarding the controversial second goal conceded by U22 Laos, the Korean coach said: "At first, the referee raised the flag for offside, thinking that the player was blocking the goalkeeper's vision. But then, the referee decided to change. Therefore, we need to review. Anyway, the match is over, the players need to focus on recovering, then consider the match with Malaysia."
When asked by reporters to compare the performance of U22 Laos against Vietnam, after a 3-goal loss that is now only a close 1-2, coach Ha shared: "I think Vietnam is still as strong as ever. But perhaps Laos has improved a bit. Hopefully everything will improve in the next confrontation."

U22 Vietnam were expected to win big in their opening match, but what happened at Rajamangala was completely the opposite. Despite dominating possession, coach Kim Sang-sik and his team did not create many truly dangerous opportunities.
It wasn't until the 29th minute that Dinh Bac put the "Golden Star Warriors" ahead. However, a mistake in defense caused U22 Vietnam to be held to a 1-1 draw by Laos after 45 minutes.
In the second half, U22 Vietnam increased the speed of attack but it took a controversial decision from the referee to decide the match. Dinh Bac had a good day with a double, but number 7 still needs to improve a lot in finishing. With the number of opportunities created in the second half, the young player of CAHN can completely help U22 Vietnam win big.
U22 Vietnam will have 8 days off before entering the decisive match with Malaysia, also at Rajamangala Stadium, on December 11.
