Accordingly, as part of the project, Grab has installed 50 benches, including: 20 benches at Dong Ba Market, 20 benches at the Hue Imperial Citadel, and 10 benches on Phu Mong Street. These are areas with high population density and many tourists .
Besides creating scenic spots and providing resting places, each bench is numbered and integrated with a QR code. By scanning this QR code, locals and tourists can easily identify the destination, making it more convenient for connecting, traveling, and sightseeing. In addition, they can explore and experience Hue's food tours with thousands of suggestions through the app.

Representatives from Grab Vietnam Co., Ltd. presented stone benches to the relevant organizations.

Ms. Dang Thuy Trang, Director of External Relations, Grab Vietnam, shared: "Grab has always focused on optimizing the convenience of local users when experiencing daily services, while also creating additional income opportunities for driver partners and restaurant partners. This project has allowed us to realize that goal."
Grab is very grateful for the support of the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Department of Tourism and local authorities in completing the installation of the stone benches, contributing to the development of public amenities to better serve local people and attract more tourists. This also promises to bring business opportunities and economic development for the people of the city in general."

The "Grab stone bench" initiative hopes to contribute to the development of community amenities and promote tourism in Hue in particular, and Vietnam in general.
Welcoming Grab's initiative, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Director of the Department of Tourism of Thua Thien Hue province, said that through similar activities, the locality hopes to develop public amenities and bring new experiences to tourists visiting Hue. This will contribute to promoting the development of Hue tourism in the future. This is also one of the activities contributing to accelerating the digital transformation of the tourism industry.
Reportedly, in addition to Hue City, since the end of 2023, Grab has also installed more than 300 similar stone benches in Vung Tau, Da Nang, Quy Nhon, and Nha Trang. These projects are part of Grab's efforts to jointly develop public amenities and contribute to promoting tourism in Vietnam.
