According to the report of the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue of Trieu Phong district, up to now, 719 fishing vessels, boats, and fishing boats have been brought ashore and to safe anchorage in the district. Particularly at the Nam Cua Viet storm shelter anchorage area, Trieu An commune, there are 45 ships from other provinces with 113 crew members and 305 ships from the province taking shelter. Trieu Phong district has a plan to evacuate nearly 1,000 single-parent and vulnerable households to a safe place.

During the inspection at the Nam Cua Viet Storm Shelter and Cua Viet Fishing Port, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang highly appreciated the preparations of Trieu Phong district to respond to storm No. 4. In the face of the complicated developments of storm No. 4, he requested the local authorities, Trieu Van Border Guard Station, and Squadron 202 to guide the arrangement of fishing boats of the same size to anchor close together, organize the reinforcement of boats at the anchorage area, and fully prepare the necessary conditions to safely prevent storms. At the same time, ensure security and order at the anchorage area and fishing port when storms occur.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also requested that localities proactively have plans to evacuate people to safe places. Organize forces to be on duty 24/24, deploy plan 4 on the spot, arrange supplies and vehicles in key areas and vulnerable areas to respond and organize rescue when situations arise.
