On this occasion, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan presented 400 gifts to policy families, the poor, and workers; 200 million VND to children in difficult circumstances; and 500 million VND to support the construction of gratitude houses in Quang Nam .

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan sent New Year greetings to all officials and people of Quang Nam province.
Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan said she was very moved every time she visited the cadres and people of Quang Nam, a land of bravery and resilience in the fight to protect the country. Quang Nam is also a place that suffered many sacrifices and losses, and is the locality with the most policy beneficiaries in the country, with more than 45,500 people.
The Vice President especially acknowledged the efforts of Quang Nam province in focusing on taking care of the lives of policy families and people with revolutionary contributions over the past many years and hoped that the locality would continue to do a good job of repaying gratitude and improving the lives of policy families and people with revolutionary contributions.

Sharing more at the ceremony, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan said that in 2023, the country's economic growth will be at a fairly good level in the region, budget revenue will exceed the target, many areas will have high growth, raising the average income per capita of the whole country to more than 100 million VND/year.
In particular, the Government focuses on developing transport infrastructure, promoting investment attraction in many fields, opening up many opportunities for comprehensive development across the country this year and in the following years.
Also today, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan offered incense at the Monument of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Tam Phu Commune, Tam Ky City; presented gifts to cancer patients being treated at the Oncology Department of Quang Nam Provincial General Hospital; visited and wished Happy New Year to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Tam (Ha Lam Town, Thang Binh District); visited and wished Happy New Year to Hero of the People's Armed Forces, War Invalids Tran Thi Cuc (Binh Nguyen Commune, Thang Binh District).
