Accordingly, the Inspector of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health fined Dai Viet General Clinic Company Limited (address 1505-1507-1509 3/2 Street, Ward 16, District 11) 35 million VND for the act of: Advertising medical examination and treatment services without content about the scope of professional activities stated in the medical examination and treatment license.

In addition, this clinic's medical license was also revoked for a period of 2 months. At the same time, this facility was forced to remove and delete the above-mentioned violating advertisement.

In addition, Ms. Le Hoang Tram (nurse) of this clinic was also fined 35 million VND by the Department of Health Inspectorate and had her practice license revoked for 23 months, due to her medical examination and treatment activities exceeding the scope of activities stated in her medical examination and treatment practice certificate.

Reportedly, this is not the first time Dai Viet General Clinic and related individuals have been penalized. Previously, in March 2023, the Inspectorate of the Department of Health revoked the medical practice certificate of obstetrician and gynecologist Le Thi Thu (practicing at Dai Viet General Clinic) for 23 months and fined her 35 million VND for violating regulations on medical examination and treatment beyond the scope of professional activities specified in her medical practice certificate, except in emergency cases and cases where additional specialized techniques are performed as permitted by law.

In May 2022, this clinic was also fined 66 million VND for violations such as: Requiring patients to pay for medical examination and treatment costs that have not been publicly listed according to regulations, charging higher prices for medical examination and treatment services than the listed prices... In addition, Dr. Tran Thi Bach Van at this clinic was also fined 63 million VND, had her practice certificate revoked for a period of 3 months due to prescribing medical examination services for personal gain, using expired drugs...

In November 2019, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee decided to fine Dai Viet General Clinic a total of over VND143 million and revoke its operating license for more than four months because the clinic provided medical examination and treatment services beyond its scope of expertise; did not ensure human resource conditions; and created medical records but did not fully record them.
