Preventing the risk of vehicle inspection congestion in 2024

Việt NamViệt Nam28/01/2024

According to the forecast from the Vietnam Register - Ministry of Transport , in 2024, there is a risk of traffic congestion in the province for inspection. Therefore, in order to further improve the coordination of state management of motor vehicle inspection activities, and gradually overcome the shortcomings and obstacles in inspection activities, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments and branches to perform a number of tasks.

Accordingly, the Department of Transport is required to organize the management of motor vehicle inspection activities in the province. At the same time, inspect, check and handle violations in the implementation of regulations on business and motor vehicle inspection services according to the prescribed hierarchy. In addition, arrange relevant forces to guide and direct traffic to ensure order and traffic safety, avoiding congestion at motor vehicle inspection centers if there is a situation of a large number of vehicles waiting in the surrounding area.

Require motor vehicle inspection centers in the province to be proactive in propaganda work so that organizations and individuals can choose and register for inspection appointments, avoiding the situation of a large number of vehicles waiting in the surrounding area, leading to congestion and loss of local traffic safety and order. Strengthen inspection and examination work, promptly correct limitations and shortcomings in inspection work, in case of detecting violations, promptly handle or recommend competent authorities to strictly handle inspection centers and inspectors in performing their duties.

Coordinate with the Vietnam Register - Ministry of Transport to organize training courses for vehicle inspectors and motor vehicle inspection staff for vehicle inspection centers in the area, foster professional expertise, raise sense of responsibility and professional ethics for officers and employees working in vehicle inspection.

In addition, the Provincial Police Department is requested to direct the Phan Thiet City Police and Ham Thuan Nam District Police to coordinate with the forces of the Department of Transport in guiding and directing traffic to ensure order and traffic safety at motor vehicle inspection centers, if there is a situation where a large number of vehicles are waiting in the surrounding area, leading to congestion and loss of local traffic order and safety. Proactively monitor, grasp, promptly detect and strictly handle organizations and individuals who violate the law related to inspection activities, especially organizations and individuals who take advantage of vehicle congestion to carry out acts of profiteering (such as receiving inspection on behalf of others, helping to speed up inspection, buying and selling stamps, inspection certificates, etc.) causing public outrage and loss of public trust.
