The number of driving licenses issued in Hai Duong increased by 73.2%

From the beginning of the year to April 8, the Hai Duong Department of Transport has issued a total of 17,758 driving licenses. Of which, 9,601 new licenses were issued (including 4,982 motorcycle driving licenses and 4,619 car driving licenses); 8,157 driving licenses were exchanged and reissued (including 2,506 motorcycle driving licenses and 5,651 car driving licenses).

Compared to the same period in 2023, an increase of 7,508 driving licenses were issued, equivalent to 73.2%, including 5,515 newly issued driving licenses and 1,993 reissued and reissued driving licenses.

The Department of Transport has strengthened administrative procedure reform and implemented online driver's license renewal applications on the National Public Service Portal, so the number of online driver's licenses from the beginning of the year to April 8 increased significantly with 2,376 licenses (while in the same period in 2023, only 23 driver's licenses were issued online).
