The number of driving licenses issued in Hai Duong increased by 73.2%

From the beginning of the year until April 8th, the Hai Duong Department of Transportation issued a total of 17,758 driver's licenses. This included 9,601 new licenses (4,982 motorcycle licenses and 4,619 car licenses); and 8,157 licenses renewed or reissued (2,506 motorcycle licenses and 5,651 car licenses).

Compared to the same period in 2023, an increase of 7,508 driving licenses were issued, equivalent to 73.2%, including 5,515 newly issued driving licenses and 1,993 reissued and reissued driving licenses.

The Department of Transport has strengthened administrative procedure reforms, implementing online acceptance of driver's license renewal applications through the National Public Service Portal, resulting in a significant increase in the number of online driver's license renewals from the beginning of the year to April 8th, reaching 2,376 licenses (compared to only 23 online renewals during the same period in 2023).
