Landslide in Dong Gia Nghia Ward affects people's houses

On the afternoon of September 9, in residential group 6, Dong Gia Nghia ward (Lam Dong), a serious landslide occurred, affecting people's houses.

The landslide affected the houses of 4 households. Currently, the landslide area is about 1000m², the volume of soil is about 900m³, and there is a large volume of soil at high risk of further landslides if the rain continues.

Immediately after receiving the information, local authorities quickly arrived at the scene to inspect and grasp the situation, at the same time put up danger warning signs and mobilized and supported households in the dangerous area to move to safety.

A new landslide occurred at Dong Tien residential group, Dong Gia Nghia ward on September 9.

Faced with the current complicated weather developments, the People's Committee of Dong Gia Nghia Ward recommends that organizations, households and individuals in the area regularly update and monitor information on storm forecasts, heavy rains, flash floods and landslides from the media, proactively share and promptly notify the community for prevention.

Local authorities have put up warning signs and encouraged some households to temporarily evacuate to safe places.
