Dong Hoi Ward: Meeting with Party cell secretaries and heads of residential groups

This afternoon, July 2, Dong Hoi Ward, Quang Tri Province organized a meeting with nearly 150 Party cell secretaries and heads of residential groups in the area. Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Dong Hoi Ward Party Committee Pham Thi Han chaired the meeting.

This is a forum for the Party Committee and government of Dong Hoi ward to listen to the sharing, contributions and practical reflections from grassroots cadres in various fields.

Accordingly, Dong Hoi ward was established on the basis of arranging the entire natural area and population size of 8 communes and wards: Hai Thanh, Dong Hai, Dong Phu, Nam Ly, Duc Ninh Dong, Duc Ninh, Phu Hai and Bao Ninh according to Resolution No. 1680, dated June 16, 2025 of the National Assembly Standing Committee; put into operation from July 1, 2025.

The newly established ward has a large area, a large population, diverse residential characteristics, with many issues that need to be handled synchronously and urgently, requiring the cooperation and solidarity of the entire political system, the sense of responsibility of each cadre and party member, and the consensus and support of all the people.

After listening to the opinions of the grassroots cadres, Secretary of the Dong Hoi Ward Party Committee Pham Thi Han emphasized: With prestige and practical experience, the Party cell secretaries and residential group leaders are both a bridge to the people and an extension of the Party Committee and the government, a core force in mobilizing people to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; at the same time, they are also a pioneering force, contributing to stabilizing life and building a foundation of solidarity at the grassroots level.
