Dong Ngac Ward celebrates 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day

HNP - On November 18, Dong Ngac ward organized a meeting with teachers on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025).

Over the past years, thanks to the attention, leadership and direction of the education and training sector, the education sector of the ward has developed comprehensively, achieving many outstanding results. Schools have proactively innovated teaching methods, applied information technology, and built a friendly and safe educational environment. These results are not only the achievements of each school but also a testament to the consensus and creativity of the entire education sector of Dong Ngac ward.

Through many years of innovation and development, the staff, teachers and employees of the Department of Education and Training of Dong Ngac Ward have always been dedicated and devoted to the future of the student generation. Currently, the whole ward has 19 schools, 65 private preschool groups, 1,056 managers, teachers, staff and 21,176 students. International integration has been expanded, helping teachers and students have many opportunities to access knowledge, improve foreign language skills and understand the cultures of other countries.

Good models and creative methods such as "4 days, 5 good", "Park school", STEM education, life skills education and creative experiential activities... have contributed to creating a modern, close and effective learning environment. Along with that, the learning encouragement and talent encouragement movements have motivated students, improving the quality of mass and key education.

That success is the result of the silent but great contribution of the whole ward's teaching staff. Many typical examples such as teacher Tran Thi Phuong - Principal of Duc Thang Primary School, teacher Nguyen Thi Huong - Principal of Dong Ngac A Primary School; teacher Nguyen Thi Thinh - Duc Thang Secondary School; teacher Vu Thi Gam - Dong Ngac A Kindergarten... are exemplary leaders, building a happy educational environment, spreading the spirit of innovation and creativity. There are many other teachers, although it is impossible to mention them all, but each individual is a living proof of the heart - talent - intelligence of teachers in Dong Ngac ward.

Authorized by the Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee, Chairman of Dong Ngac Ward People's Committee Nguyen Van Hach awarded the title "Good people, good deeds" to 4 individuals.

To promote the achievements and improve the quality of education, Party Secretary and Chairman of Dong Ngac Ward People's Council Ngo Van Nam emphasized that the ward's Department of Education and Training needs to advise on projects and plans to develop the school network, upgrade facilities and equipment, and train teachers in an innovative direction to meet the 2018 General Education Program.

The ward's Department of Education and Training needs to improve the quality of teaching and learning, focus on key points and learning outcomes, especially the 10th grade entrance exam and excellent student competitions; implement digital transformation, apply information technology in management, teaching, equip students with digital knowledge and skills, towards the goal of forming digital citizens.

In addition to focusing on teaching foreign languages, soft skills and technology, helping students confidently integrate into the modern learning environment, the Department of Education and Training ensures that the teaching staff is sufficient in quantity and strong in quality, meeting the program requirements and comprehensive development needs of students.

Vice Chairman of Dong Ngac Ward People's Council Nguyen Van Nga awarded prizes to collectives with achievements in implementing the emulation movement to celebrate Vietnam Teachers' Day November 20.

In order to promptly encourage, reward and honor collectives, individuals, teachers with achievements in emulation movements in the 2024-2025 school year, the Chairman of the City People's Committee decided to award the title of City-level Emulation Fighter to 16 individuals; 4 individuals were awarded the title "Good people, good deeds". On this occasion, 6 collectives and 26 individuals were also awarded Certificates of Merit by the Ward People's Committee for their achievements in implementing the emulation movement to celebrate the anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20.
