Vietnam Report Joint Stock Company has just announced the VIX50 Ranking - Top 50 reputable and effective public companies in 2023. PetroVietnam Transportation Corporation (PVTrans) is one of 6 oil and gas units evaluated in the "VIX50 Ranking - Top 50 reputable and effective public companies in 2023".

This is the result of objective, scientific and independent research by Vietnam Report, officially published in domestic and foreign media.

It is known that the "Top 50 Prestigious and Effective Public Companies" ranking aims to honor prestigious public enterprises with effective and stable operations, contributing to the development of the Vietnamese economy and promoting corporate brands to the domestic and international business community.

To make this list, Vietnam Report evaluates public companies, both listed and unlisted, in two phases. In phase 1, companies are selected that meet the ranking criteria based on four indicators: revenue, profit, assets, and market capitalization of at least VND500 billion. Market capitalization is calculated as of April 29, 2023.

Phase 2 ranks companies in the Top 50 based on two main groups of criteria. One is based on the scale, efficiency and business prospects of the enterprise shown through indicators such as capitalization value, revenue, profit, EPS, ROE, compound growth rate of revenue and profit.

Second, based on the media reputation of the business, assessed by the Media Coding method - encoding articles on influential media channels on 24 communication criteria of each business.

At the same time, Vietnam Report coordinates with groups of financial and economic experts in the industry to make additional assessments of growth potential; sustainable development level; governance quality and industry position of each public enterprise.

6 Oil and Gas enterprises are evaluated in the "VIX50 Ranking - Top 50 Prestigious and Effective Public Companies in 2023" including: PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation - Joint Stock Company (PVFCCo), Vietnam Gas Corporation - Joint Stock Company (PV GAS), Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (PVCFC), Vietnam Oil and Gas Power Corporation - Joint Stock Company (PV Power), Nhon Trach 2 Petroleum Power Joint Stock Company (NT2), and PetroVietnam Transportation Joint Stock Corporation (PVTrans).

The announcement ceremony of the Top 50 prestigious and effective public companies in 2023 is expected to be held in August 2023 in Hanoi.
