Quang Nam announces Hoi An – My Son – Dong Giang Heaven Gate tourist route

Quang Nam announced the Decision approving the exploitation of the transport route on the Hoi An - My Son - Dong Giang Heaven Gate Heritage Route, the first intra-provincial tourist route in the direction of developing the province's new tourism corridor.

On March 8, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province coordinated with FVG Travel Group Joint Stock Company to organize the International Travel Conference - Quang Nam 2025 with the theme "Hoi An - My Son - Dong Giang Heaven Gate Heritage Route: Where nature and culture meet".

My Son Sanctuary (Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam province) is one of three destinations in the Hoi An - My Son - Dong Giang Heaven Gate Heritage Route.

Here, Quang Nam province announced the Decision approving the exploitation of the transport route on the Hoi An - My Son - Dong Giang Heaven's Gate Heritage Route.

On this journey, visitors will be immersed in traditional and modern beauty, from historical relics to unique cultural experiences and enjoy the beauty of majestic nature.

Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, said that the Hoi An - My Son - Dong Giang Heaven Gate heritage route is the first official intra-provincial tourism route announced in the orientation of developing the new tourism corridor of Quang Nam province, connecting the Hoi An - My Son tourism center with the western and southern regions of the province and further connecting with domestic and regional tourism centers.

Tra Que Vegetable Garden (Hoi An City, Quang Nam Province) is recognized as the World's Best Tourist Village in 2024.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tan - Chairman of the Board of Directors of FVG Group said that Quang Nam has the advantage of being located on the Central Heritage Road, a land rich in historical and cultural traditions, a place where valuable tangible and intangible cultural heritages converge and crystallize, notably with two world cultural heritages, My Son Temple Complex and Hoi An Ancient Town, along with many famous landscapes and tourist attractions that attract millions of visitors each year.

The formation of a product that connects tourist destinations in the province is very necessary to contribute to promoting tourism development as well as economic development of Quang Nam province.

Dong Giang Heaven Gate (Dong Giang district, Quang Nam province) is the final point on the Heritage Road that has just been announced.

Mr. Tan also proposed a number of solutions to complete the Hoi An-My Son - Dong Giang Heaven Gate Heritage Route such as: Completing and upgrading traffic infrastructure and connecting routes; Developing specific tourism products; Applying digital technology to the tourist route such as developing a digital map of the interactive route on Google Maps, displaying detailed routes, bus routes connecting this journey with destinations, historical and cultural information and itinerary suggestions; Calling for investment attraction in tourism projects...

At the workshop, the Organizing Committee also announced the Decision and awarded the Green Tourism Certificate to Dong Giang Heaven Gate Eco-Tourism Area; awarded the record certificate for the longest dragon-shaped covered corridor in Vietnam; organized a space to display tourism products, OCOP typical of Quang Nam province; signed memorandums of understanding on cooperation and association to develop tourism in Quang Nam.
