Quang Nam donates 500 million VND to Se Kong for social security work

According to Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee - Le Van Dung, the content of this program is part of the plan to implement foreign affairs of Quang Nam province in 2024, implementing the Minutes of the Summit between Quang Nam province and Sekong signed in 2022.

Through that, it aims to strengthen and deepen the special friendship between the two provinces of Quang Nam - Sekong in particular and the two countries of Vietnam - Laos in general.

On behalf of the leaders of Quang Nam province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung presented a symbolic plaque of VND 500 million to Secretary and Governor of Sekong Lech-lay Si-vi-lay to share and express the sentiments of the Party Committee, Government and People of Quang Nam with the sister province that has been facing difficulties in recent times.

Although the budget is not large, Quang Nam hopes to contribute to helping the Party Committee, Government and People of Sekong province carry out social security work and build houses for the poor in the province, especially in the clusters of villages bordering Quang Nam - Sekong.
