Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee requests that departments, agencies, associations, and organizations, as well as the People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities, develop plans to organize Mid-Autumn Festival activities for children in their respective areas, in accordance with the local situation, ensuring safety, healthiness, practicality, and economy; and organize beneficial artistic and recreational activities that promote the beautiful and unique cultural values of the nation.
At the same time, strengthen the dissemination of legal regulations on child protection; promote communication and counseling on child protection, prevention and control of violence, abuse and injuries to children in the community.
In addition, attention should be paid to visiting, encouraging, and supporting children in special circumstances, children from poor and near-poor households, children from ethnic minority areas, remote areas, and children suffering from serious illnesses or diseases requiring long-term treatment; and the role of families, communities, and society in caring for children should be promoted.
Actively mobilize the public to support and contribute to the Children's Protection Fund at all levels; coordinate with relevant agencies to promptly resolve cases of violence, abuse, accidents, and injuries to children; strictly punish agencies, organizations, educational institutions, and individuals who conceal, fail to report, or fail to denounce cases and acts violating children's rights.
The Provincial People's Committee also requested that units and localities strengthen inspection and control of food hygiene and safety at food production and business establishments serving the Mid-Autumn Festival, and food for children that does not meet quality standards, is counterfeit, fake, or past its expiration date. They were also instructed to organize inspections and strictly handle entertainment and recreational facilities for children that do not meet safety standards, and establishments selling toys and cultural products that are harmful and endanger the health and healthy mental development of children.
