This is one of the contents of the draft Resolution on the expected medium-term public investment plan for the 2026-2030 period discussed and approved by the 13th Quang Ngai Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, at the 27th Session (special session) held on September 27.
Accordingly, the expected resources for the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2026-2030 of Quang Ngai are nearly 39,180 billion VND. After allocating about 11,548 billion VND to the province's investment programs and tasks, the province plans to arrange investment for about 205 projects worth 27,628 billion VND.
Of the 205 projects allocated for investment, there are 25 projects transferred from the 2021-2025 period with a capital of more than VND 3,917 billion and 180 new projects starting construction in the 2026-2030 period with a capital of VND 23,710 billion (the central budget is VND 10,914 billion and the provincial budget is VND 12,796 billion).
It is expected that by the end of 2030, 197/205 projects will be completed, the remaining 8 projects will be transferred to the 2031-2035 period using provincial budget capital, with the value transferred to the medium-term period of 2031-2035 of about 3,620 billion VND, equal to 14.5% compared to the medium-term plan for the 2026-2030 period of provincial budget capital currently expected (25,034 billion VND), ensuring the transfer rate (not exceeding 20%) according to the provisions of the Law on Public Investment.
This is the expected plan. After receiving the official capital announcement from the Central agency, the Provincial People's Committee will review and adjust accordingly and submit to the Provincial People's Council to decide on the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2026-2030 according to regulations.
According to Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Quang Ngai province Bui Thi Quynh Van, the 27th session is the 6th thematic session in 2024. The session has been identified in the 2024 Work Program of the Provincial People's Council.
"At this session, a report will be considered and discussed and 12 draft resolutions will be approved, in order to promptly meet the requirements of managing the province's socio -economic development, national defense and security," said Ms. Bui Thi Quynh Van.
Of the 12 draft resolutions discussed, there are 2 resolutions related to State budget revenue and expenditure; 3 resolutions related to national target programs, 3 resolutions on public investment. In addition, there is a resolution on adjusting the investment policy for the project of the Rainwater and Wastewater Collection and Treatment System of Quang Ngai City in the Southern Basin of the Tra Khuc River and a resolution on specific policies in the area...
